Job description: The Front Desk Receptionist/CNA is the first point of contact for patients and visitors at CWEST. We seek a skilled Front Desk Receptionist/CNA in our Century City ambulatory center who excels in a fast-paced setting and is available full-time, Monday through Friday including some Saturdays. This role involves creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing administrative responsibilities, and ensuring smooth front desk operations. Key duties include patient scheduling, checking in, answering phone calls, and other essential clerical tasks to support the clinic’s daily workflow.
This will be a full-time position. Full-time employees are eligible for our group benefits after waiting period, that includes, medical, dental, vision, 401k retirement plan, FSA/HSA and other voluntary benefits.
Responsibilities
Administrative:
1. Greet and log in patients arriving at the clinic
2. Perform general office duties such as answering telephones, scheduling, and completing insurance/disability forms
3. Manage appointments of the patients in accordance with the time and schedule of the physicians and also furnishing the patients with all necessary information
4. Copying the appointment schedule and giving it to the providers and other personnel involved in patient care
5. Maintain current patient information/demographic data and handle all data entry work that would help the health care organization function efficiently
6. Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; completing diagnostic coding and procedure coding; keeping patient information confidential
7. When new patients arrive, present registration packet and notify personnel that the patient has arrivedetc.
Required:
- Experience: Experience in Medical administrative support or healthcare setting).
- Language: Bilingual in Spanish or Russian required.
- Availability: Full-time position, Monday through Friday including Saturday.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and scheduling software.
- Customer Service: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide a welcoming and professional experience for patients.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Insurance Knowledge: Familiarity with insurance verification, authorizations, and patient billing is a plus.
- HIPAA Compliance: Understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
- Professionalism: Punctuality, reliability, and a polished demeanor in all patient interactions.
- Certified CNA.
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
