Job Overview
We’re looking for a dependable, hardworking Roll-Off and Semi Driver who takes pride in their work, knows how to safely operate commercial vehicles, and enjoys being part of a close-knit team.
Your primary responsibilities will include driving roll-off trucks and semis, delivering and picking up containers, hauling materials, and helping keep our day-to-day operations moving. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic and is ready to learn in a hands-on environment.
The more experience, licenses, and skills you bring to the table, the more we can offer in pay. Additional work may also be available within our other company divisions depending on your experience and interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate roll-off trucks, semis, trailers, and other company vehicles.
- Deliver, exchange, and pick up roll-off containers at customer locations.
- Haul wood waste, mulch, equipment, materials, and other approved loads.
- Properly secure loads and follow all DOT and company safety requirements.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Report maintenance concerns, damage, or mechanical issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate driver logs, tickets, and required paperwork.
- Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, management, and other drivers.
- Keep assigned trucks clean and organized.
- Assist with general yard, shop, or operational duties when needed.
- Additional opportunities may be available in our grinding, yard, mulch, equipment, or other company divisions.

Schedule
- Monday through Friday.
- Typical start time is approximately 6:00 AM.
- Hours may vary depending on routes, workload, weather, and customer needs.
- We operate year-round in a variety of weather conditions.
- Overtime and occasional weekend work may be available or required depending on workload.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license required.
- CDL required for semi driving.
- Roll-off truck, semi, trailer, or heavy equipment experience is strongly preferred.
- Must have a safe driving record and be able to meet company and insurance requirements.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, load securement, and vehicle inspections is preferred.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and have minimal call-ins. You are here because we need you.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Additional skills are a plus, including:
- Heavy equipment operation
- Mechanical knowledge
- Trailer experience
- Walking-floor experience
- Grinding or wood-waste industry experience
- Yard or material-handling experience

Compensation
- Wage: $25.00–$40.00 per hour, depending on experience, licensing, driving ability, and additional skills.
