This is a construction and window installer job.
Pay is pending construction experience. If you have done windows, even better!
$18+ for sure!
Mon-Fri 8am-5pm is the usual schedule.
We are in need of temp workers and full time workers.
Responsibilities
- Measure and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to accurately install windows, glass panels, doors, and cabinetry.
- Handle glass materials safely, including cutting, fitting, and installing various types of glass with precision.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for installation tasks such as framing, sealing, and finishing.
- Perform heavy lifting of window units, glass sheets, and construction materials while adhering to safety protocols.
- Read blueprints and technical specifications to ensure proper dimensions and quality control during installation.
- Assist with remodeling projects by installing metal stud framing, cabinetry, or other fixtures as needed.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials on-site while following safety standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or remodeling projects with a focus on window or glass installation.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, drills, levels, measuring tapes, and screwdrivers; familiarity with power tools is essential.
- Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately for quality control purposes.
- Experience handling glass materials safely during cutting, transport, and installation processes.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not required.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights on scaffolding or ladders comfortably.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
