We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Cashier/Stocker to join our team in a dynamic retail environment. Duties
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and assisting with product selection.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling practices.
- Stock shelves with merchandise, ensuring products are organized and displayed attractively.
- Conduct product demonstrations to promote new items and encourage sales.
- Assist in merchandising efforts to enhance product visibility and drive sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and stockroom.
- Support supervisory tasks as needed, including training new staff members on best practices.
Skills
- Proficient in cashiering and cash handling procedures.
- Strong retail sales experience with an emphasis on upselling techniques.
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Experience in merchandising and stocking within a grocery store environment.

- Knowledge of retail math concepts to assist in inventory control and sales reporting.
- Previous supervising experience is beneficial for those interested in leadership roles.
