Lunch Rush Team Member — Lemonade & Boba Shop

Pay: $16 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:30 AM–2:00 PM
Hours: Approximately 17.5 hours per week
Lemon Delight is hiring an energetic and friendly team member to assist during the busiest part of the day at our lemonade, boba, and snack shop located inside Santa Fe College.
This position is primarily focused on helping the team provide fast, accurate service during the college lunch rush. It is a good fit for someone seeking a consistent weekday part-time schedule.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve lemonade, milk tea, boba drinks, waffles, fruit cups, and other menu items
- Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service
- Accurately take orders and process customer payments
- Work quickly and calmly during busy lunch periods
- Follow recipes, measurements, and portion guidelines
- Assemble orders accurately and present them neatly
- Restock cups, lids, ice, toppings, ingredients, and other supplies
- Keep counters, preparation areas, equipment, and customer-facing areas clean
- Wash dishes, utensils, containers, and equipment as needed
- Assist with ingredient preparation and restocking
- Take out trash and complete assigned cleaning duties
- Follow instructions from the opening employee and shift manager
- Follow all food-safety, handwashing, sanitation, and allergen procedures
Qualifications
- Friendly and comfortable working directly with customers
- Dependable and able to arrive on time
- Able to work quickly without sacrificing accuracy or customer service
- Comfortable working as part of a small team
- Able to follow recipes, instructions, and portion guidelines
- Willing to clean, wash dishes, restock, and assist with food preparation
- Able to stand for most of the shift
- Able to safely lift approximately 30 pounds
- Food-service, retail, or customer-service experience is helpful but not required
- Must be consistently available Monday through Friday
- Must complete the company-provided ServSafe Food Handler Certification
Food-Safety Certification
All employees must complete the ServSafe Food Handler Certification provided and paid for by Lemon Delight.
Applicants do not need to already be certified. Required training will be completed after hiring within the timeframe established by the company.
We are looking for someone who is upbeat, dependable, and able to maintain friendly service while working at a fast pace.
