Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual with great communication skills that has a passion for animals and health care. The ideal candidate has leadership skills and is available to work 40 hours per week in office with occasional travel for tradeshows and other events.
Skills/Requirements: English speaking, Proficient in Microsoft office, Windows intel systems, sales, horse knowledge preferred, high school, associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Job Description:
· Responsible for sustained, profitable revenue growth in the equestrian channel within the Midwest region
· Responsible for developing and implementing sales, marketing, financial and structural strategies in stores across a group of territories
· Communication with dealers and customers to provide support or education on products and services
· Continued market research for the development of new dealer and customer relations
· Knowledge of all the products made by the manufacturer in addition to their purposes and ingredients
· Ability to answer questions related to manufacturer’s products, horses and horse health
· Receiving sales orders through multiples channels like phone, email, in-person, tradeshows
· Coordinating product and promotional shipments for stores, partners, events, and/or affiliates
· Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute sales presentations for clients or events
· Travel as needed for client meet and greets
· Use manufacturer’s contact management system to input customer information for sales and marketing purposes
· Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
· Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
· Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
· Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
· Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
· Check incoming orders for accuracy, answering phones, inputting customer data, processing orders, record keeping, email maintenance and other office duties
· Ability to travel at different times throughout the year and lift to 25 lbs.
· Booth set up, greeting customers, product education, product sampling, collection, and input of customer data, receiving and fulfilling orders, and running promotions during tradeshows and events

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
