Job Overview
The Pre-K 3 Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for three-year-old children. This position fosters children's social, emotional, physical, spiritual, and cognitive development through developmentally appropriate activities, positive guidance, and meaningful interactions. The Pre-K 3 Teacher serves as a positive role model and works collaboratively with families and staff to ensure the success and well-being of every child.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesClassroom Management
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
- Ensure constant supervision of children at all times.
- Follow all licensing regulations, health and safety procedures, and center policies.
- Maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios.
Child Development and Education
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities that promote learning through play.
- Encourage the development of language, literacy, early math, science, and social skills.
- Support children's emotional growth by teaching kindness, self-regulation, and problem-solving skills.
- Observe and assess children's progress and communicate developmental milestones with families.
Relationships and Communication
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with parents regarding their child's day, progress, and needs.
- Work collaboratively with administration and fellow teachers to maintain continuity throughout the day.
Caregiving Responsibilities
- Assist children with toileting, handwashing, meals, snacks, and other daily routines.
- Maintain accurate attendance and classroom records.
- Respond appropriately to children's physical and emotional needs.

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
