Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electronic Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electronic components and systems with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electronics assembly processes, including PCB (Printed Circuit Board) handling, surface mount technology, and electrical wiring. Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic components onto PCBs using hand tools, power tools, and surface mount technology techniques in accordance with detailed blueprints and schematics.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately follow assembly instructions.
- Build electrical panels and wiring harnesses by following electrical blueprint specifications and schematics.
- Solder surface-mount devices (SMD) and through-hole components using IPC 610 standards to ensure quality and durability.
- Utilize testing equipment such as ohmmeters to verify electrical connections, troubleshoot issues, and ensure proper functionality of assembled units.
- Conduct mechanical assembly of electro-mechanical components, ensuring precise fitting and alignment.
- Perform engineering troubleshooting to identify faults or defects in assembled products and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols during assembly processes.
- Assist in the development of manufacturing procedures for electronics assembly projects.
Skills
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings related to electronics assembly.
- Experience with PCB handling, surface mount technology (SMT), and electrical wiring techniques.
- Skilled in soldering techniques compliant with IPC 610 standards for both surface-mount and through-hole components.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electro-mechanical component integration.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, machining equipment, and testing devices such as ohmmeters effectively.
- Knowledge of electrical panel building, wiring diagrams, and schematic interpretation.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes related to electronics assembly, including schematics reading and blueprint following.
- Capable of troubleshooting complex electronic systems using engineering principles.
- Attention to detail in following blueprint specifications while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
