Position Summary
The Restaurant Manager oversees all food and beverage service operations, including staff scheduling, training, and daily front-of-house supervision. This role ensures service standards are consistently met while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
A strong floor presence is essential to anticipate needs, resolve issues, and exceed members’ expectations. The role also includes leading team meetings and fostering a positive, professional workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef, Banquet Captain, and Director of Catering
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening/closing and service flow
- Schedule, train, and supervise front-of-house staff
- Maintain service standards, cleanliness, and overall ambiance
- Lead pre-shift and departmental meetings
- Manage dining room and event floor plans based on reservations
- Review and execute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs); attend weekly BEO meetings
- Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and consistency
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Audit POS system for accuracy and efficiency
- Handle member feedback and resolve concerns professionally
- Support staff development, recognition, and performance reviews
- Promote club events and maintain strong member relationships
- Assist with service as needed (serving, bussing, seating, etc.)
- Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2–3+ years of restaurant or hospitality management experience (club, hotel, or resort preferred)
- Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of food, beverage, and wine service
- Familiarity with local liquor laws
- Flexible schedule (evenings, weekends, holidays)
