We are looking for enthusiastic Travel Advisors with 1+ years experience as a travel agent who have a passion for travel, teamwork and customer service. We specialize in creating amazing experiences and lasting customer relationships that generate repeat business. We need people who love to laugh, embrace change and who can share their travel passion with our clients.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Research various destinations and means of travel regarding prices, customs, weather conditions, reviews etc.
- Determine the clients’ specifications and wishes and suggest suitable travel packages or services
- Organize travels from beginning to end, through booking tickets and accommodation, securing rental transportation etc.
- Supply travelers with pertinent information and useful travel/holiday material (guides, maps, event programs etc)
- Collect deposits and balances
- Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages
- Handle unforeseen problems and determine eligibility for money returns
- Attend conferences to maintain familiarity with tourism trends
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 -3 years’ experience in travel preferred.
- Requires attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self-motivator, who achieves results autonomously or via teamwork
- Proficient in Microsoft products: Word, Excel, Outlook
- Proficient in the use of internet and web-based technologies
- Understand our company values, goals and objectives.
- Positive can-do attitude, driven, reliable, trustworthy, detailed-oriented
- Ability to work Monday – Friday schedule
