American Traveler is seeking an experienced outpatient RN for a Pulmonology/Allergy clinic position, requiring an active SC or Compact RN license and at least 1 year of nursing experience.

Position is based in a multi-specialty outpatient clinic offering 25+ specialties, approximately 50 beds
-
Specialty focus is Pulmonology and Allergy
-
Monday through Friday schedule, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
-
No weekend or on-call requirements
-
Floating to like units may occasionally be required but is expected to be rare
-
Charting is done in Epic (experience preferred)

Free on-site parking is available

Active SC RN license or Compact RN license required — candidates with a pending SC license may be considered but must have an active license prior to start

Current AHA BLS certification required

Minimum 1 year of RN experience required

Epic EMR experience preferred

Pulmonology and/or Allergy outpatient experience preferred; Allergy-specific experience is particularly helpful

SSN and Driver's License required for consideration

Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Candidates who have previously worked as permanent staff or PRN at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler

Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are considered local; non-local candidates are prioritized, though local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis

All RTO requests must be submitted upfront; approval is based on facility need

Royal blue scrubs are required

Online orientation modules must be completed prior to the start of the assignment

During hurricane season (June–November, with peak activity in August and September), all staff and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams
