Job Summary
Love and Learning Child Care Center is looking for caring, responsible, teacher assistants. We have a part-time school age assistant position available from 6:30 AM-9:00 AM and 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. A back-ground check will be required, which is paid for by Love and Learning. Experience is preferred. This position is located at Granville Elementary School.
Responsibilities and Duties
Staff member will oversee the care, safety and guidance of school age students. This includes overseeing snack, helping with homework, taking children outside, creating and guiding activities, following the program schedule, signing children in and out, completing incident/injury reports when necessary, communicating with fellow staff, parents and being a positive role model for children. This is an active job so staff must be able to stand for long periods of time, be able to bend over to pick up toys and able to play with the children.
Qualifications and Skills
Must be patient, energetic and have a passion for helping children gain social emotional skills through activities and games. Previous experience is preferred. First Aid, CPR, Communicable disease and child abuse training is preferred, but not necessary. Love and Learning will pay for training.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
