The Greeter & Food Services Assistant is a vital and highly visible member of the CHiPS team, fulfilling our mission of feeding the hungry since 1971. CHiPS operates a soup kitchen and food pantry serving hundreds of guests daily — many experiencing homelessness or food insecurity — at our Park Slope, Brooklyn location. This role is the first point of contact for guests, residents, donors, and vendors — and is central to maintaining a safe, orderly, and welcoming environment.
The Greeter & Food Services Assistant manages the guest line, responds swiftly and professionally to conflict or disorder, receives and logs deliveries, and maintains the cleanliness of our exterior spaces.
