We are looking for drivers for our summer camp field trips. Must be 21 or older with a valid driver license. Responsible for driving a small bus/van to and from various field trip locations. Other responsibilities may include helping with other camp activities such as sports, games, crafts or small projects, swimming, etc. Responsible for ensuring safety for camp children at all times. Children range from age 6-12.
Responsibilities
- Drive bus on field trips
- Oversee field trip activity
- Make sure camp children return to center on time
- Ensure safety of camp children
- Help oversee activities for kids at summer camp
- Plan outdoor and indoor activities or sports for groups of campers
- Lead recreational and educational activities (such as swimming, sports or crafting)
- Set up and maintain equipment
- Make sure all safety rules are followed
- Check kids in and out during drop-off and pick-up
- Perform first aid or take care of injuries as needed
Skills
- Safe driver- able to drive small bus (training provided)
- Proven experience working with children
- Ability to oversee activities and sports for campers
- Patient and reliable
- Organizational and communication skills
- Energetic and positive personality
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
- Work well with other Summer Camp Staff
- Drivers must be at least 21 years old
- Able to pass background check
