We are seeking a friendly, dependable Part-Time Cashier / Sales Associate who enjoys working with the public and thrives in a customer-facing environment. We are hiring for 2 shifts per week, specifically Saturday afternoons (2:00 PM to close) and Sundays (10:00 AM to 6:00 PM).
The ideal candidate has a positive, outgoing personality and is committed to delivering excellent customer service while creating a welcoming experience for both customers and coworkers.
Responsibilities
- Operate cash registers, scanners, and credit/debit card terminals accurately
- Process purchases, collect payments, and bag customer items efficiently
- Handle exchanges quickly and professionally
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout each shift
- Count and verify register funds when required
- Learn product locations throughout the store and assist customers with directions and recommendations
- Support a clean, organized, and customer-friendly store environment
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills required
- Cashier experience preferred
- Previous retail store experience is a plus
- Friendly, professional, and outgoing attitude
- Reliable transportation required
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Capable of bending, kneeling, and being on your feet during shifts
