Wetherington Golf & Country Club is seeking a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Event & Membership Coordinator to join our team. This position is responsible for coordinating private events, weddings, and club-hosted events while working closely with members and guests to create exceptional experiences. The role also supports membership growth and retention by assisting with membership inquiries, clubhouse tours, new member onboarding, and member engagement initiatives.
The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can manage multiple events while ensuring every detail is thoughtfully planned and executed.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee member and private events from initial inquiry through event execution, ensuring every detail is thoughtfully planned and delivered with exceptional service.
- Lead the Club's children's programming by planning, organizing, and facilitating crafts, activities, and seasonal family events.
- Prepare banquet event orders (BEOs), event timelines, floor plans, and other planning documents.
- Collaborate with the culinary, banquet, golf, and management teams to ensure seamless event execution.
- Build lasting relationships with members, guests, and prospective members.
- Conduct clubhouse tours, prepare event proposals, and assist prospective clients and members throughout the booking process.
- Support membership recruitment and retention initiatives, including member engagement and special events.
- Assist with marketing initiatives, bridal shows and social media content to promote the Club's events and membership opportunities.
