Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our dynamic facilities team. Duties
- Assist with routine maintenance and repair of building systems and equipment
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and HVAC maintenanceunder supervision
- Assist with facility inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns
- Assist with preventative maintenance on facility systems and equipment according to schedules and procedures
- Assist with installing, repairing, and replacing fixtures, equipment, and building components
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition
- Follow workplace safety policies and procedures
- Conduct maintenance painting, carpentry repairs, and building interior upkeep to maintain a clean and functional environment.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety checks for compliance purposes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure facilities meet safety standards; support customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests.
Qualifications
- 1 year experience in building maintenance, construction, or skilled trades
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Speak, Read, and write English
- Valid Texas driver's license
Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
