Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent guest services throughout their dining experience.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast systems.
- Provide recommendations for menu items, including upselling specials and pairing suggestions to enhance the guest experience.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining attention to detail in presentation.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food service industry, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings, is preferred.
- Familiarity with Toast POS systems.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential.
- Culinary experience or kitchen experience is an advantage but not required.
