Job Overview: (NO PREVIOUS SPEECH AND DEBATE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED)
PRIME Talents Services is seeking a dedicated Speech and Debate Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students from grades 4 through high school. PRIME Talent Services works with Advantage Communications, a highly successful full service speech and debate programming organization that works with various school districts across Southern California. Experience in the speech and debate field is helpful but we are willing to train the right individual! Duties:
- Instruct and train individuals or teams in the speech and debate program- Develop and acquire knowledge of training programs and practice sessions- Motivate and inspire kids to achieve their best performance- Provide guidance and support to enhance skills and techniques- Organize and oversee competitions or events- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants
Ability to work with groups of students as large as 25 students.
Experience:
- Previous experience working with students in speech and debate is helpful but not required- Knowledge of child development and effective teaching methods- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Certification or qualifications in relevant sports disciplines is a plus
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary
Shifts: Most shifts are after school, but some shifts during school hours are available
Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
