The Law Office of Rory B. Weiner, P.A. is seeking a litigation associate with approximately five (5) or more years of experience to join our growing practice.
About the Firm:
We are a well-established Tampa Bay firm, with over 23 years of experience, handling business litigation, real estate litigation, employer defense (FLSA), HOA/condominium disputes, and landlord/tenant cases. Our practice is trial-oriented. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced attorney who can start and contribute immediately. We welcome an attorney who also wishes to grow an area of practice which we currently do not focus on, such as family law.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
· Have 5+ years of litigation experience in Florida
· Be comfortable drafting motions, memoranda, pleadings, and discovery
· Have meaningful courtroom experience, including hearings and depositions
· Be capable of handling matters independently while collaborating when appropriate
· Grow the firm’s client base and originate new cases
· Exercise strong judgment and professionalism with clients
· Strong research abilities with Westlaw
· Strong writing abilities
We are particularly interested in candidates coming from small or mid-sized firms where hands-on responsibility and real courtroom experience are part of daily practice.
