Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Generator Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Generators, Electrical Troubleshooting, Load Banks, Transfer Switch Repairs, with the ability to diagnose & resolve issues efficiently. This role requires mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with various tools, & a commitment to providing excellent customer service. The Technician will work on a variety of tasks related to generator repair & maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics & repairs on generators diesel & gaseous, fire pumps & electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical & mechanical issues effectively.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Use hand tools & power tools safely & effectively in various repair tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about repairs needed & completed.
- Maintain a clean & organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting as part of the job requirements.
- Assist with heavy lifting as required during repairs or equipment handling.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency & effectiveness.
- Travel & overnight travel is a must.
Experience
- Previous experience as a generator technician is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of generator repair practices & techniques.
- Proficiency in electrical systems troubleshooting & transfer switches is desirable.
