Diesel Mechanic
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines, trucks, and other heavy-duty vehicles. If you have a passion for mechanics and enjoy working with large machinery, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, trucks, and equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Conduct inspections to identify worn or damaged parts
- Complete tasks in a timely manner to minimize downtime
- Assemble and disassemble engines and components as needed
- Conduct air brake and tire service as required
- Assist with HVAC and suspension system repairs
- Work on farm machinery maintenance when necessary
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks
- Proficiency in equipment repair and maintenance
- Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance best practices
- Familiarity with air brake systems
- Experience in assembling and disassembling components
- HVAC system repair skills are a plus
