Transportation Aide

Responsibilities:
Assist patients and residents with transportation to and from medical appointments, treatment facilities, and social activities
Operate company-approved vehicles in a safe and responsible manner
Maintain accurate records of transportation routes, mileage, and patient needs
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless transportation transitions
Provide emotional support and assistance to patients and residents during transportation
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify and address transportation challenges
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with patients, families, and healthcare staff
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work variable schedules, including evenings and weekends as needed

Work Environment:
Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent patient contact
