This team has an established municipal water and wastewater practice across the Southeast, with a strong backlog in North Carolina. The need here is for someone who can step into production and take ownership of electrical scope across active projects.
- Pump stations
- Water and wastewater facilities
- Small to mid-size infrastructure projects
- Lead electrical design from concept through construction
- Perform equipment sizing and system design
- Develop one-line diagrams, grounding plans, and area classifications
- Run generator sizing and equipment selection
- Handle QA/QC and design reviews
- Attend client meetings and site visits
- Gather field data and translate into design documents
- Support projects through construction
- Experience delivering electrical design for infrastructure projects
- Comfortable owning projects with minimal oversight
- Strong Revit and AutoCAD capability, both are critical
- Experience with SKM, ETAP, or arc flash studies is a plus
- Established municipal workload, not chasing work
- Real ownership of projects, not just supporting
- Direct mentorship from an experienced electrical leader with a background across utilities, power systems, and water infrastructure
- Collaboration with an existing electrical team in Florida
- Clear path to step into a lead role
Within the next few years, this person is expected to:
- Lead a team of designers
- Act as the primary electrical lead on projects
- Help establish CAD and Revit standards for the group
