New Location Opening Late August (Date TBD) – Training Required
This role is for our brand new location at Willamette Garage in West Linn, with a planned launch of Late August (subject to change). Before starting there, every new hire must complete 3 to 7 days of paid training at our downtown Portland location. Please only apply if you're able to complete training in Portland ahead of the West Linn start date.

About Us
We're a family-run halal Mediterranean food cart serving authentic shawarma since 2022. Everything is made fresh daily (halal meats, house-made sauces, traditional recipes). We've built a loyal following across Portland, and we're now expanding to West Linn.
The Role
This is a full-time, long-term position for one reliable person who wants to be a core part of how we run at our new West Linn location. Once trained, you'll work a set shift between Tuesday and Sunday (we're closed Mondays), within our service hours of 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. This is not a side gig or a fill-in role. We're looking for someone who shows up, takes ownership, and wants to grow with the cart.

Below are possible shift patterns to give you a sense of scheduling. Actual shifts may vary week to week, so you'll need to be fully available anywhere within our 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM service window.
- Position 1: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Position 2: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM

You're looking for something temporary or just to get by for a few weeks, being on time is a struggle for you, you'd rather work alone and avoid customers, or a fast, hot, physical environment isn't your thing. We say this upfront out of respect for your time and ours.
What You'll Do
Prep ingredients and set up the cart before service, take and assemble orders quickly and accurately, keep the workspace clean and organized throughout the day, greet customers warmly and represent us well every interaction, and handle end-of-day clean-up and close-down.

- Oregon Food Handler Card (can be obtained before your first shift: $10, about 1 hour online)Able to complete 3 to 7 days of paid training at our downtown Portland location before starting at Willamette Garage
- Full availability anywhere within 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Tuesday through Sunday
- Reliable transportation; able to stand, move, and work on your feet for a full shift.
Nice to have (not required):
Prior kitchen, food cart, or fast food experience; familiarity with Middle Eastern or Mediterranean cuisine.
Job Details
Full-time W2 employee. Training: 3 to 7 days at our downtown Portland location (paid), required before West Linn start.
