We are expanding and seeking energetic, compassionate, and dedicated Licensed Psychotherapists (LSW & LCSW only) to join our team in East Brunswick, NJ.

This is a full-time contract (1099), fee-for-service hybrid position (not W-2 employment) —though part‑time may also be considered— and offers meaningful opportunities for professional growth within a supportive and collaborative environment.
As a Licensed Psychotherapist at MindSpa, you will provide individual, couples, and/or family counseling, offer mental health support, and work with clients from diverse backgrounds. The ideal candidate is someone who values connection, clinical excellence, and a team-oriented approach to care.

Responsibilities
- Conduct individual counseling sessions and provide evidence-based individual treatment to clients to address mental health issues.
- Use measurement-based care to inform treatment planning.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to engage clients effectively.
- Provide specialized counseling for gender issues and developmental disabilities.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of client progress and treatment plans in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Apply behavioral analysis techniques to develop tailored treatment strategies for clients.
- Provide feedback training protocols/ methodologies. Participate in initial and ongoing trainings on the application of evidence-based and tech-enhanced care delivery
- Maintain awareness of risk management issues.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid Licensed Social Worker licensure (LSW) or LCSW in NJ.
- At least a year of experience providing psychotherapy in a private practice or community mental health center (can include internship).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of mental health conditions, treatments, and ethical practices
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining medical records and documentation.
- Compassionate, non-judgmental, and empathetic attitude towards clients
