This is a fantastic entry-level, full-time opportunity. We provide full on-the-job training. For motivated team members, we fully fund extra professional education to help you learn the trade and transition into a certified, professional pet groomer!

We believe in a great work-life balance! This position features a unique, rotating schedule that gives you a 4-day weekend every other week, plus most weekends completely off:
- Week A (4-Day Work Week): Monday – Wednesday (7:45 AM – 4:00 PM), Thursday (11:45 AM – 8:00 PM). Enjoy Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off!
- Week B (5-Day Work Week): Tuesday – Wednesday (7:45 AM – 4:00 PM), Thursday (11:45 AM – 8:00 PM), Friday (7:45 AM – 4:00 PM).
- Saturdays: We only work the first Saturday of each month from 7:45 AM – 1:00 PM.
- Financial Perks: $16.00 – $18.00/hour baseline pay plus take-home cash/digital tips from our generous clients.

Core Responsibilities
- Bathing & Prep: Wash, condition, blow-dry, brush out, and de-shed canine clients of all sizes and breeds.
- Basic Maintenance: Perform safe nail trimmings, ear cleaning, and sanitary prep work under supervision.
- Dog Handling: Safely guide, lift, and secure dogs on grooming tables and in tubs using low-stress handling techniques.
- Salon Care: Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workspace by sweeping hair, washing towels, and disinfecting kennels/tools.
- Client Service: Greet pet parents warmly during drop-off and pick-up with clear, friendly communication.
Requirements
- Genuine love for animals and a patient, calm demeanor.
- Ability to stand for long periods and safely lift dogs weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a collaborative team attitude.
- Absolute availability to work the required shifts, including the first Saturday morning of the month.
- No prior grooming experience required—we will train the right person!
Note on Start Date: This position will officially begin immediately following Labor Day. In-person interviews and paid working auditions will take place throughout August.
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
