Assistant Store Manager, Retail
Pet Pantry Warehouse is looking for a new member for our Westchester Management Team!
This is a "floating" keyholding position. You will be required to fill shifts across our 3 Westchester location in Larchmont, Scarsdale, and Rye NY.
Assistant Store Manager applicants must have previous retail management experience with references. Please do not apply if you do not have previous supervisory retail experience.
Experience with pets and the pet industry is preferred but not required. A strong background in retail operations, customer service, staff management, and inventory control is required. Leadership and communication skills are a must!
Other Requirements/Details required (but not limited to):
-Full time hourly pay,35-50 hours/week, 5-6 days/week (must include weekend days) with flexible schedule.
-Key Holder-responsible for opening and closing store
-Proficiency and familiarity in use of Microsoft Excel*, Word, and Google Docs.
*All applicants must complete an evaluation of their skills using Microsoft Excel. This is to determine the extent of initial training you may require if hired. Lack of familiarity with this program may impede training and affect the hiring decision.

Assistant Store Manager hires will begin employment with the developmental title of "Lead Associate" during their first 90 days. During this period you will be trained in all sales, operational, and management duties before the official classification as Assistant Store Manager.
Training will take place at our nearby Scarsdale location for a minimum of 90 days.
Please note: Hiring for the Assistant Manager position will be contingent on the applicant passing references checks and a background check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
