Job Title: Maintenance Director

At Hickory Grove Post Acute, we are seeking a Maintenance Director to join our team. As a key member of our Operations department, the Maintenance Director will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of our facility.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all maintenance and repair activities, including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems
Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance plan to ensure the facility's integrity and overall functionality
Manage and supervise a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed
Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address potential maintenance issues
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication
Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and repair projects
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards
Manage and coordinate vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance
Requirements:
Maintenance experience in a similar setting (post-acute care, hospital, or long-term care facility)
Strong knowledge of maintenance and repair practices, including electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems
Proven leadership and management skills, with ability to supervise and train staff
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and strong organizational skills
High school diploma or equivalent required
