Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support our educational team in creating a positive and engaging learning environment. The ideal candidate will assist in the instruction and care of students, particularly those with special needs, including autism. This role requires a commitment to fostering literacy education and behavior management while working closely with both students and educators.
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities tailored to individual student needs.
- Provide childcare and toddler care, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all students.
- Support students with special education requirements, focusing on those with autism, by employing effective communication strategies.
- Engage in behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior among students.
- Facilitate literacy education by helping students develop reading and writing skills through interactive activities.
- Collaborate with teachers to assess student progress and adapt instructional methods as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
Skills
- Experience working with students, particularly those with special needs or autism.
