Compensation: $21.00 – $26.00 (Depending on Experience)

As a Consumer Lending Specialist, you will play a vital role in assisting members throughout the lending process-from application to loan closing-while ensuring compliance with lending guidelines and delivering exceptional member service.
What You'll Do
As a Consumer Lending Specialist, you will:

Assist members with consumer loan applications through phone, email, and online communication channels.

Review and process loan applications accurately and efficiently.

Submit completed loan applications to the underwriting team.

Collect and organize supporting documentation requested by underwriters.

Analyze credit bureau reports to identify additional lending opportunities.

Assist with opening new member accounts related to Indirect and Gravity Loan programs.

Partner closely with underwriters to coordinate loan closings and funding.

Ensure all loans are processed according to established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Maintain reports and documentation as requested by management.

Provide consistent follow-up throughout the lending process to ensure an excellent member experience.

Deliver exceptional service while building and maintaining positive member relationships.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum of two (2) years of consumer lending experience required.

Retail sales experience preferred.
Physical Requirements

Ability to sit for extended periods of time.

Ability to use a computer and related office equipment for extended periods.

Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
