Horizon Science Academy Dayton is looking for a Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team for the 26-27 School Year.
Responsibilities:
- Support the school's mission, philosophies, values, goals, and policies toward students, parents/guardians and coworkers.
- Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct standardized tests, clinical assessments, and instrumental exams (e.g., barium swallow) to diagnose communication disorders.
- Treatment Implementation: Develop and carry out individualized treatment plans for speech sound disorders, fluency, voice, and receptive/expressive language delays.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with state/facility regulations.
- Collaboration & Education: Consult with family members, caregivers, physicians, and educators to provide training and discuss rehabilitation goals.
- Share best practices with other teachers and collaborate with them to improve instructional and assessment practices.
- Interact frequently and respectfully with students/staff.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree
- Valid OH Speech Pathologist License
- Minimum of 5 years Teaching Experience
