Position Overview
The Residential Property Manager is responsible for the operational and financial performance of a residential property portfolio. This role works closely with owners, tenants, maintenance personnel, accounting staff, vendors, and administrative support to ensure properties remain well maintained, occupied, financially successful, and compliant with applicable regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations for a residential property portfolio
- Oversee leasing activity, renewals, occupancy, and vacancy management
- Coordinate tenant move-ins, move-outs, inspections, and property condition documentation
- Partner with maintenance staff to coordinate repairs, preventative maintenance, and vendor scheduling
- Review vendor proposals, estimates, and scopes of work for owner approval
- Monitor delinquent accounts and coordinate payment follow-up
- Prepare operational reports, budgets, and financial updates
- Communicate with owners, tenants, vendors, insurance representatives, accounting staff, and internal teams
- Show available units and support applicant screening activities
