Ellis & Co. is hiring 2–3 experienced cabinet makers / millwork fabricators as we rebuild our production team around a smaller group of highly capable professionals.
We are looking for experienced people who can work independently, maintain a strong production pace, solve problems, and consistently produce high-quality, install-ready work.
This is not an entry-level position.
What We're Looking For
Qualified candidates should have several years of hands-on experience with custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, commercial casework, or similar woodworking production.
You should be comfortable with:
- Reading and working from shop drawings
- Cabinet and casework assembly
- Plastic laminate and common cabinet materials
- Hardware installation and final fit
- Routers, saws and professional woodworking tools
- Working efficiently without constant supervision
- Identifying and solving problems before they affect production
- Maintaining both quality and production pace
- Participating in field installation as needed
Experience with solid surface, custom fabrication, CNC equipment, edgebanders, drill-and-dowel equipment or commercial installation is highly valued.
Our Equipment
Our production equipment includes:
- Biesse CNC routers
- Holz-Her edgebanding equipment
- Gannomat drill-and-dowel equipment
- Panel processing and case assembly equipment
- Top quality tooling throughout
Machine experience is a significant advantage, but we will train an exceptional cabinet maker on equipment they haven't previously operated.

Work Environment & Schedule
Our manufacturing facility is air-conditioned, and we provide the tools necessary to do the job. Our shop is equipped with well-maintained professional tools from Festool, Hilti, Milwaukee, DeWalt and other premium manufacturers.
Current schedule: Monday–Thursday, four 10-hour shifts.
Shop employees should expect to participate in field installations when required.
Compensation
$30–$45+ per hour, based on demonstrated experience and capability.
