Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and professional Speech-Language Pathologist to join a school district in Calumet City, IL for the upcoming school year. This is an on-site position focused on providing essential therapeutic services to a diverse student body ranging from Early Childhood through 8th Grade.

Term: Full 2026-2027 Academic Year
Dates: August 17, 2026 – May 21, 2027
Full-time Monday - Friday
Key Responsibilities
Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for students across the EC-8 spectrum.
Develop and implement goal-oriented IEPs (Individualized Education Programs).
Provide direct therapy services to address communication, fluency, and articulation disorders.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress in a classroom setting.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintain rigorous documentation standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
State Licensure: Must hold a valid Speech-Language Pathologist license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
Education Certification: Must possess a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a school-based endorsement.
Clinical Competence: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
Commitment: Ability to work the full duration of the school year on-site.
