A Long-term Care Facility in Cobb County, GA is seeking an experienced and compassionate Full-time Wound Care Nurse to join our nursing team.
Position Overview: The Wound Care Nurse is responsible for assessing, treating, and monitoring residents with acute and chronic wounds while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. This role requires strong clinical wound care skills, attention to detail, and excellent bedside manner.
Availability:
- Full-time (Monday Through Friday)
- Part-time (Every or Every other Saturday and Sunday)
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing, documenting, and managing all types of wounds
- Developing and implementing wound care treatment plans
- Performing wound treatments and dressing changes
- Monitoring healing progress and adjusting care plans as needed
- Collaborating with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
- Ensuring compliance with infection control practices and facility protocols
- Educating staff, residents, and families on wound prevention and care
Qualifications:
- Active GA RN license
- Wound care experience required (certification strongly preferred)
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience required
- Strong clinical and documentation skills
- Compassionate with excellent bedside manner
- Organized, reliable, and able to work independently

Experience:
- Wound Treatment Nurse in a Nursing Home or LTC: 4 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- RN License (Required)
- Wound Certification (Preferred)
