We are looking for a committed Instructional Specialist to support daily instruction in the Culinary Academy’s JumpStart (dual enrollment) program, which serves high-school students preparing for advanced culinary training. This role also assists with Bruin Café retail operations when needed.
The Instructional Specialist will guide students in hot foods, cold foods, and baking, while modeling strong customer service and professional kitchen behavior. The position includes hands-on teaching, helping students build solid technical skills, and ensuring they are prepared to move successfully into the Academy’s degree program.
This is a temporary position through at least Fall of 2026. This position is housed at the Tech Center, but may report to other locations in order to meet the needs of the position.
