Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Roofing Repair Specialist to join our dynamic Roofing Repair team. We here at Willis Roofing are expanding rapidly and are looking for a dynamic team player to join us as a Roofing Repair Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems to ensure safety, durability, and performance. Your expertise will help protect structures from weather elements and extend the lifespan of roofing assets. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors on diverse projects in the beautiful Coastal North Carolina region, utilizing your technical skills and construction experience to deliver high-quality results efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of roofing systems, identifying damage or areas needing repair or replacement
- Perform roofing repairs using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment on different types of roofing materials including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and tile
- Follow detailed construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute repair and installation tasks
- Safely operate ladders, scaffolding, and construction safety harnesses while adhering to all workplace safety regulations
- Install siding, stucco, trim carpentry elements, and perform restoration work as needed to improve building exterior integrity
- Use caulking, welding, masonry skills, and heavy lifting techniques to complete complex repair projects effectively
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics for precise fabrication and installation of roofing components or related structures
- Maintain a clean and organized work site by following safety protocol adherence standards at all times
Experience & Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of proven construction experience with a focus on roofing repair
- Familiarity with various roofing systems including asphalt shingles, metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and heavy-duty waterproofing techniques
- Hands-on experience with Roofing Repairs.
- Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and proper use of safety harnesses, ladders, hand tools, power tools, and scaffolding
- Outdoor work experience in diverse weather conditions with a strong emphasis on safety protocol adherence
- Skilled in metal stud framing, plumbing integration within roofing projects, tile laying, caulking techniques, and restoration processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Previous handyman experience or general construction site experience is highly valued
- Bilingual is a must (English/Spanish)
- Must pass a drug test
- Salary based on Experience

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
