In this hands-on, technical role, you'll work closely with the shop floor to streamline manufacturing processes, support machine builds and run-offs, develop fixtures and tooling, and help launch new product lines. You'll also work with CAD drawings, ERP/MRP systems, BOMs, and plant layouts to improve manufacturing processes and ensure products are efficiently brought from design into production.
This position is ideal for a Manufacturing Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Process Engineer, or similar with a strong background in welding, fabrication, or machine-based manufacturing, looking for the autonomy to drive practical improvements, take ownership of projects, and play a key role in developing manufacturing excellence across the facility.
The Role:

Lead hands-on manufacturing projects focused on improving production processes, machine builds, run-offs, fixtures, tooling, and new product launches.

Develop and optimise manufacturing processes, facility layouts, workflows, and 2D CAD drawings to improve efficiency and streamline production.

Collaborate closely with Engineering and Production teams, using ERP/MRP systems, BOMs, CAD, and continuous improvement principles to implement practical manufacturing solutions.
The Candidate:

Experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Process Engineer, or similar, ideally within welding, fabrication, or industrial machinery, manufacturing environment.

Strong hands-on knowledge of MIG welding and fabrication processes, ideally with experience developing fixtures, tooling, or manufacturing processes.

Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD software, with knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, BOMs, and manufacturing processes.

Engineering qualification or relevant technical background, with an analytical, curious, adaptable, and hands-on approach to solving manufacturing problems.
