Sr. Database Administrator
Job Duties: Utilizing independent judgment, install, configure, administer, maintain and manage large, moderately complex SQL Server databases in production, staging, QA and development environments; coordinate development of logical and physical database structures; perform data partitioning for efficient management of database tables and indexes; design and develop packages using different control flow tasks, data flow task and data transformations; design, develop, configure and deploy custom build business reports; perform migration and database upgrades using side-by-side process; coordinate and implement security measures and policies; execute performance tuning by index defragmentation, optimizing execution plans, usage of indexes, horizontal, vertical partitioning and setting up clustered instances; implement backup and recovery strategies; tune database performance and resolve performance; implement new features; provide support during production, development and testing; monitor event view, error logs and log file viewer for software and hardware related errors; troubleshoot SQL Server jobs and monitoring tool; audit database for transactions, logins, actions and remove users; and use the following tools: Windows, SQL Server, SQL Profiler, OLAP, OLTP, SSIS, SSRS, DMVs, DMFs, and related tools.

Minimum Qualification:
Education: Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Management Information Systems;
Other Requirements: Must be willing to travel and relocate.
