We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.
JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver GE Appliances to different addresses and through different routes.
- Follow routes and time schedule.
- Load, unload, stage, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle.
- Ability lift product up to 90 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to climb in/out of box truck without assistance.
- Get the required signatures from OEM on pick tickets as well as driver signature.
- Document deliveries or log other shipment information.
- Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints.
- Assist with warehouse operations when asked.
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Complete truck inspection sheets daily
- Ability to communicate with customer/receiver when making deliveries.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
REQUIREMENTS OR QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED
- Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
- Valid Driver’s License required (minimum 3 years)
- Ability to operate trucks in a variety of weather and traffic conditions.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good driving record with no traffic violations
- Excellent communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
