Job Overview
We are looking for a certified, compassionate, and reliable Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one, in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for a 8-year-old child. The ideal candidate is energetic, patient, and experienced in working with school-aged children on the autism spectrum. Therapy will focus on building independence, supporting homework transitions, and practicing emotional regulation in a natural home environment.
- Hours: [Monday-Friday 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM]
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, one-on-one behavioral therapy under the clinical supervision of our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans to target communication, social skills, and self-care routines.
- Use positive reinforcement and motivation-based strategies to replace challenging behaviors.
- Collect precise, real-time data on target behaviors during each session.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Certification: Active RBT certification in good standing.
- Must be CPR Certified!!!!
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Education: High school diploma required; college coursework in psychology or education preferred.
- Physical Ability: Able to actively engage with an 8-year-old (e.g., sitting on the floor, lifting up to 40 lbs).
