Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil engineering and have experience with various surveying techniques and technologies. This role is essential for ensuring accurate measurements and data collection for land development projects, infrastructure, and construction.
Duties
- The Instrument Operator is responsible for performing daily surveying activities under Party Chief supervision and operating a variety of specialized surveying equipment, such as a robotic total station, data collector and leveling devices, and GPS tools.
- Must be able to operate an electronic data collector, GPS equipment, optical & robotic total station and digital & optical leveling equipment
- Must be able to make informed decisions in the field
- Responsible for maintaining a safe work site environment for all survey crew members
- Out of town travel may be required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
