Setting: Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital (Adult & Geriatric)
A well-established, physician-owned psychiatry group is seeking an Attending Psychiatrist for inpatient hospital services in Hopkinsville, Kentucky . This role focuses on adult and older adult populations in a traditional inpatient hospital setting, with an average caseload of approximately 18 patients.
We are looking for a collaborative psychiatrist who thrives in an inpatient environment and values being part of a growing, supportive organization.
Manage an average daily inpatient caseload of approximately 18 patients
Perform psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment planning
Provide medication management
Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams
Participate in treatment team meetings and care coordination
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
MD or DO degree from accredited institution
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Active (or ability to obtain) Kentucky medical license
Inpatient psychiatric experience preferred
