Position Summary: Responsible for processing letters, booklets, outgoing merchandise and print jobs to be sent out daily with proper paperwork to achieve a superior level of customer service to internal and external customers.
Essential Job Functions:
- Operate machinery/equipment used to process mail and other print jobs to send out.

Perform all the following functions: sort, fold, hand / machine insert letters and enclosures; process letter retypes and reprints; operate printers, cutters, tabbers and pallet jacks; provide monthly activity reports as requested.

Responsible for operating copiers to print necessary documents.

Efficiently and accurately pick and pack orders for production and prepare for shipment.

Check-in, observe and communicate with team members to assess areas needing assistance.

Carry out shipping process and procedures to maintain production efficiencies. Including proper labeling on all shipments.

Create, maintain, run shipping records.
-
Operate USPS, UPS, and all shipping systems.
- Maintain order and inventory accuracy, daily restocking picking inventory. Add, subtract, divide and multiplication utilized.

Process publication back-starts and missed copies.

Maintain appropriate records and documents to support internal and external audits.

Use equipment such as pallet jacks to move large quantities of work.

Keep work area clean and organized to facilitate a safe and efficient.
- Learn and perform all other departmental tasks, as needed to cover for absent team members, during peak workload times, or as otherwise directed by the Supervisor.

Regular and reliable attendance at the worksite and adhere to assigned schedule. – this position is not a remote or telecommute position.

Adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures per the guidebook including all safety requirements including all safety guidelines.

Utilize electronic time management system to input time, attendance and paid off request
Non-Essential Job Functions:

Assist in daily processes in order to get out mail accurately and timely.

Collate, staple and assist in copy center jobs as necessary.

Maintain and run reports, as required.

Cross train in all distribution department functions to support and assist other members of the team, as needed.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
Experience:
- Mechanically inclined is helpful/preferred.

6 months experience in a distribution or shipping environment preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with members of a team.

Solid hand to eye coordination, maintaining repetitive motion and mindful of quality assurance.
-
Detail-oriented demonstrating ability to meet strict deadlines and learn new processes.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn and become certified under the organization’s lift truck training program.
Computer Skills: Advanced PC skills, former experience generating hard copy data reports.
