Ross Precision Manufacturing is a world-class, AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 certified contract manufacturer serving the aerospace, power generation, and high alloy melting industries. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Machinist to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC lathes, milling machines, boring machines, and grinders.
- Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and work instructions.
- Set up workpieces using appropriate fixtures, chucks, tables, and other holding devices.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs.
- Conduct in-process inspections to ensure parts meet customer specifications and internal quality standards.
- Operate saws, grinders, welding, and flame-cutting equipment as required.
- Use hand tools (e.g., grinders, chisels, saws) and lifting tools (e.g., cranes, forklifts, hand carts) safely and effectively.
- Complete jobs according to production schedules and deadlines.
- Adhere to ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality system requirements.
- Contribute to a team-based work environment that supports continuous improvement and quality objectives.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist with bench work and product assembly when needed.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school, or 6 months to 1 year of related experience.
- U.S. citizenship required.
Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and safety documents.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to follow written procedures and meet deadlines under supervision.
- Familiar with production documentation and quality reporting.
- Capable of collaborating across teams and organizational levels.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Proficiently execute both, short-term and long-term organizational objectives that align with the organization's mission
Tools & Equipment Used:
- CNC and conventional turning and milling machines.
- Saws, grinders, welding equipment, and inspection tools.

Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts
- Evening, overnight, and Monday to Friday availability
- Overtime may be required
