Mortgage Loan Officer - Las Vegas Market - Remote
Valley West Mortgage is an independent mortgage lender headquartered in Las Vegas. We have been originating in Nevada since 2004 and are licensed to lend in 32 states plus DC. We do FHA, VA, conventional, and DSCR on one desk, with processing in house.
This seat is built for the Las Vegas market specifically, but the role itself is remote. You work from home, take borrower calls on your own schedule inside Pacific business hours, and originate loans for buyers and homeowners across the Las Vegas valley (Summerlin, Henderson, North Las Vegas, the whole metro) without a daily commute to the office.
What the role looks like
- Originate purchase and refinance loans for Las Vegas valley borrowers across FHA, VA, conventional, and DSCR.
- Take borrower calls, structure files, and hand clean packages to in-house processing.
- Own borrower communication from application through closing.
- Coordinate with local real estate agents on the buy side. Local market knowledge (Clark County price points, HOA norms, appraisal timelines) is part of the job.
- Work fully remote, with occasional in-person availability for local agent relationships if it fits your workflow.
What we look for
- Active NMLS ID and licensed to originate in Nevada.
- Working knowledge of the Las Vegas valley housing market.
- Proven ability to originate independently. If you have run your own funnel of purchase and refinance business, that is the fit.
- Comfort explaining the loan clearly to first-time buyers and self-employed borrowers alike.
- A reliable home setup for remote borrower calls during Pacific business hours.
