Regional office of large law firm seeks an experienced worker's compensation paralegal for its Raleigh, North Carolina office.
Job duties include:
- Investigation, preparation, and management of cases from intake through settlement
- Communication with clients, witnesses, experts, and court personnel
- Requesting, reviewing, and summarizing medical records
- Scheduling of IMEs, mediations, depositions, and other related matters
- Docketing and following up on deadlines
Qualifications:
- 2 years minimum worker’s compensation experience required
- BS, BA, or paralegal certification preferred
- Excellent computer and grammar skills
- Civil litigation experience is a plus
