Qualifications
*Teller experience – 1 year (Required)
* Member Service experience with a financial institution – 1 year (Required)
* Strong technical aptitude with working knowledge of PC’s, smartphone technology (Apple & Android), Windows environment and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
*Moderate to advanced math aptitude
Responsibilities
*Process teller transactions efficiently and accurately, including balancing all cash and non-cash items at the end of the day.
*Possess and maintain knowledge of credit union products, services, policies and procedures.
*Assist members with transactions regarding any credit union products and services in person, over the phone, or online via chat & text to include opening and closing accounts, moving money between credit union accounts, processing loan payments, issuing official checks, solving problems with debit cards, etc.
*Establish personal connections with each member while maintaining a friendly, warm, and inviting environment.
*Take ownership of tasks by leveraging all available resources to answer questions and solve problems in a prompt and optimistic manner; collaborating with team members as needed.
*Actively listen to members and make suggestions for products or services that fit their needs.
*Deliver exceptional member service when processing various account requests, while communicating with the member throughout.
*All other duties as assigned.
