Job Purpose:
At EPICHR, we operate in a warehouse environment that runs 24/7, 365 days a year, including nights and weekends. Our facilities feature multi-temperature buildings, ranging from -20°F to ambient temperatures, and equipment over 30 feet in the air. Our goal is to handle all technical issues in the warehouse to ensure smooth operations at all times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Resolve and log IT support emails.
- Address and resolve IT issues via phone.
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot company mobile phones.
- Desktop and laptop PCs:
- Install operating systems and user applications.
- Perform routine maintenance.
- Recover lost data.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
- Use antivirus software for virus and spyware removal.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot various printers (laser, thermal, impact).
- Provide support for Autonomous Guided Vehicles (AGVs).
- Troubleshoot Microsoft OS configuration issues.
- Resolve issues with mobile and wireless devices.
- Set up, configure, and troubleshoot network devices and infrastructure.
- Process IT requests, including:
- Create new user accounts for warehouse software.
- Set up domain/Active Directory accounts.
- Create and link shared folders.
- Relocate users and hardware.
- Adjust user access in warehouse software.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area.
- Keep track of equipment inventory and assets.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Minimal Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent with relevant certifications.
- Professional IT experience is required.
- Ability to work varied schedules, including weekends and early morning shifts.
- Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and work both independently and in a team.
- Strong communication skills to interact with all levels of personnel.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations is a plus.
- Analytical and technical skills are essential.
Work Environment:
- Ability to work in a distribution center with varying temperatures.
- Ability to work safely around heavy moving equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, clamps, scissor lifts) in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
